Shadow Stealers in St Francis!

This Thursday started like no other Thursday...On the playground was a man wearing a red St Francis badge. After saying good morning to us we found out that he was a real life book author called Daniel Ingram-Brown.  

Each class had an hour with him learning the tricks of the trade and we found out he also has a theatre company and writes plays.  All the children were excited by the props he brought in - an executioner's hood, severed head, cloak and top hat.  Children also acted out the first chapter of the book.

Now we are all eagerly reading the novel to find out what happens to Scoop and to see if Knot is really a thug.
