Collective Celebration with Durham Food Bank

 

Today Mr Temple, who coordinates the St Claire's Food Bank, came to speak to us. He taught us about how the Durham Food Banks began and answered many questions from the children about life without food. 

 

Children have been bringing donations into school all week and Mr Temple will take these back. Last year 1500 people received food parcels in our local area. Thank you to everyone who sent donations in.
