This morning children walked into school with King Henry VIII and he took over the school for the first half of the morning. Batman came along too, as his bodyguard, to protect him from any super villains. He came to school to bring to life a story written by Demi in Year 6.
Gabrielle was the first to impress him with her polite curtesy as she entered the school hall, shortly followed by Ella Grance and her disco sword fighting. He took us around Europe teaching Ella his groovy moves. Next they planned a sporting competition to show off all the royal skills. King Henry VIII then transformed AJ into an incredibly refined, regal Queen. Callum became King Francis of France and they acted out the competition.
The story was hilarious and we are all really pleased that Demi won the Megamotion competition.

On Monday morning ten special eggs arrived in each of the Y3/4 classes. These eggs contained 19 day old chicks. They came through a company called Living Eggs and they have provided us with all the equipment the chicks will need for the next two weeks.
Monday and Tuesday were exciting as we began to see the eggs move and crack. Some eggs even began to cheep!
When we came in on Wednesday morning some of the chicks had hatched! They were so cute. Now our classrooms are bursting with new life as we eagerly anticipate seeing a chick hatch.
Please follow the progress of our chicks on our class pages.
