I asked our teachers here at St. Francis what was important to them about being in our school. Here is what was said. I hope you find this as interesting as I did.
Thank you,
Aston S.
I talked with as many children as I could around my school to ask them what was really important to them and what coming to our school was really like! Here is a selection of their answers. The bigger the word, the more times it was said.
Thank you,
Aston S.

Yesterday the house teams put their building skills to the test! They were challenged with making the strongest bridge spanning 30cm using only newspaper and cello tape.
Yellow team constructed the the strongest bridge that held a small and 2l bottle vertically! The staff and children worked together and showed great team skills.
On Tuesday 8th January, we welcomed in M3 Science. A team of scientists bringing science to life.
Throughout the morning, Green House completed a range of chemical-based experiments with Mrs Price.
One of the Year 5s described the day as "finding out that CO2 (and other chemicals) can mix to cause chemical reactions."
The children were hands-on with creating rockets, slime and producing chemical reactions in testubes. We discussed chemical types (alkiline and acidic), which meant that we could understand how reactions take place.
We we would love to welcome them back for more scientific experiences.
