Blue

Motto

Blue’s seek to be the best, we are shooting like stars, we make happiness all the way to Mars.

Qualities

  • Helpful (when someone is injured/upset, when we are in teams to help achieve something)
  • Supportive (helping someone who hasn’t won)
  • Collaborative
  • Respect one another
  • Courage (not afraid to do something that we are unsure of)
  • Persevere
  • Joyful and able to have a laugh, but understand when it’s not ok.

Who we are:

In Blue House Team we...

  • Focus on never giving up (determination, perseverance)
  • Know that making mistakes is part of learning and being the best versions of ourselves
  • Don’t judge each other, we support each other
  • Are like a jigsaw puzzle – we are all unique and this helps us to communicate, we can be who we are and want to be!
  • Use different themes to help us know more about ourselves
  • Are all the light of the world, Jesus shows us how to do this and we can spread out light wherever we go in the world
  • Understand that prayer brings light and joy to the world

Matthew 5: 14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

What does this mean for our Blue House team?

  • We don’t have to hide away and we can show the best versions of ourselves.
  • When it says “In the same way, let your light shine before others…” it means that when visitors or new students join us, we shine and show our best.
  • Being the light of the world means that we are special to God.
