"To be the best we can be"

Mrs. Wilkinson's retirement: We are having a celebratory Glitz and Glamour FUN THURSDAY (22nd) to mark Mrs. Wilkinson's time here at St. Francis. Children can wear bright and sparkly clothes to celebrate as a St. Francis family (bubbled) with Mrs. Wilkinson. No coloured hair please.

Year 6 - Miss Cail

Hello Year 6!

I am so excited to be teaching you in September - although I know we spent a little bit of time getting to know each other in March before all of this craziness started! I can't wait to get to know all of you a lot better and I know we'll have a great time in Year 6 with their being two Year 6 classes! Mrs Roche is our HLTA and will be working between both classes to give you support and challenge your thinking. Miss Cooper will be teaching the other Year 6 class. I know that it feels like we have been home learning for a long time now but please remember that it is so important to see your school friends again and start to get used to being in the classroom environment. In the first week or so we will be getting to know each other, doing display work to make our classroom our own. We are moving into Mrs Pickett's room. 🙂 We will also be doing lots of talking and discussions in P4C and PSHCE to get us all used to talking in a group conversation again - I can't tell you the last time I talked with more than one other person!

Please do not worry or even THINK about SATs! We will work through everything together one day at a time. That is, if the SATs even go ahead. Shake off all of the worry and let's start in September with a smile on our face and a positive mind.

Can't wait to see you all!
