Year 5 - Miss Lanham

Hello Year 5!

We are very much looking forward to teaching you in September, we are going to have an incredible year together! Getting to know each other, finding out a new routine and taking your learning to the next level (with lots of fun) is a priority after this time apart.

We are incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Wright as our TA this year, which means that we will both be here to support, guide and challenge you as you continue your journey through St Francis’ (moving from Lower Key Stage 2, into Upper Key Stage 2).

I know that we have not seen each other for a while and that you have been home learning (for what must seem an eternity), so it may feel unusual to see each other and be back in the classroom environment, but please do not worry, that is what we are here for! We are here to help ensure that we are all feeling comfortable, confident and getting back to building our own environment in our classroom (we are in upper bay, next to the hobbit hole (where Mrs Wright and myself were this year). The first week or so will be making sure that we can make our classroom our own and we will be taking part in discussions in P4C and PSHCE to get us used to the group talk once again.

We want you to make sure that when we see you in September: we bring smiles to your faces, support your positive mindset and ensure that feel heard and listened to. For now, enjoy your summer holiday and we are eager to see you in September!
