Year 3/4 - Mr. Sowerby

Hello Year 3/4!

We are looking forward to seeing you in September and a journey for us all to embark upon. We will create memories which you will cherish for years, I know I will. Our priority is to ensure you are challenged throughout and are provided with opportunities you will enjoy.

We are fortunate that we have two TA’s, Mr Baister and Mrs Troup, which means there will be plenty of support available as you progress on your educational pathway through Lower Key Stage 2. The staff offer plenty of opportunities for extra curricula activities, at break-times, lunch and after-school, but if you ever hear an opera singer in the corridor, I assure you it is not me, it will be Mrs Troup!

Although, I have not met any of you, I have heard wonderful things about you all. Before this craziness, I was not at this school. But do not worry, I am not an alien!

I was a football coach for Darlington and Middlesbrough football club.  So, I am new to this school like some of you. If you want to talk about sports with me and Mr Baister, be prepared! He might even show you his football sticker collection!

Until then, take care and we guarantee a great year coming September.

Mr Sowerby
