"To be the best we can be"

Thank you to all the mini police who were such wonderful role models at the "Observance for the Commonwealth" event in Durham last Wednesday. They were all an absolute credit to the school!! Y6 -PLEASE REMEMBER to do a "little and often" in your home revision sessions. Rest and time with your family are also important. Thank you!! MrsW

School Uniform Policy

Picture 1
Picture 2

In our school we have a policy of what we wear in and out of school. In school we wear uniform to show pride and show our school is a school of pride (pride is showing good behaviour and responsibility in your actions).

Uniform:

When we come in uniform it has to be labelled. These are the right uniform you should be wearing.

  • Red jumper / sweatshirt / cardigan
  • Black skirt / trousers / pinafore
  • Red gingham dress
  • White shirt / blouse / polo shirt
  • Black sensible shoes - no trainers or high heels
  • Sandals must be worn with socks
  • PE Kit - white shirt, green shorts and black pumps

Jewellery and Make-Up

We as children should not wear make-up. Earrings are allowed but they have to be small studs that can be taken out before PE. Nail varnish is also not allowed, only for the school discos and parties.

Extreme Hairstyles

In school extreme haircuts are not allowed or colours, except sensible colours like brown, blonde, black or ginger. No false hair should be worn or patterns shaved into hair.
